This past weekend (Nov.24 -26)we had the annual gift exchange at our house. Leona, Paul, Carolyn, Russell, Brian, Cheryl, Ben and Steve, and of course John, Allison, Brad and I were all here in Whitby. Melissa and Cory joined us for dinner. The weather cooperated so no one had a scary trip here or home.
We all went 10 pin bowling. That was kind of an accident. I didn’t know the place didn’t have 5 pin! Everyone enjoyed it though ’cause it was something a little different than usual. It went a little better after us girls found some lighter bowling balls to play with. After that it was off to Jack Asters for dinner. Both the food and service were very good.
We had a Nintendo Wii here and everyone had a go at that. Man you should have seen Leona and Paul and Melissa and Cory boxing. You’d almost think they’d done it before.
All in all it was a good weekend. Always nice to see everyone and I like having everyone here. The only reason it’s better up north is that more of you get to join us.
