I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas. By the sounds of it everyone is getting a white one this year – and then some.

I will be booking the hall for the family reunion early in the new year. So I hope everyone has marked the date on their calendars.

Hard to believe the gift exchange is only a few weeks away now. I for one am really looking forward to it. It’s always a good time. Kind of disappointing that Allison and Brad won’t be able to make it this year but it is too close to exams for them. Maybe next year.

Nothing much new here. Everyone is back to the routine of school and work and keeping busy. Christmas is right around the corner now so I guess the next few weeks will be filled with shopping and getting ready.

Hope everyone has a good weekend. John is working days (8am – 8pm) Sat, Sun,and Monday so it will be dinner for 3 this year. It was hard finding a small enough turkey. Enjoy the beautiful weather and lots of good food!

Just thought I’d add another message. Not too much happening here. Allison and Brad are back to school and John and I are back to a quiet house. Enjoying the sunny weather – finally!

I do have a question (if there’s anyone out there to read it) Where is the paper newsletter? I thought it should have returned back to me long ago. Must be really old news by now.

We really enjoyed our trip out east for Dave and Keri’s wedding. We went with Leona and Paul and had a road trip. We went down into the states and crossed through the Adirondacks, then through Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine to New Brunswick. We took a few scenic routes on our way to Hubbards Nova Scotia and found quite a few places to get ice cream cones, and saw a lot of rain.

The wedding was very nice, the weather was perfect on Saturday and Sunday. The Coolen’s have a very nice spot out there in Nova Scotia and they put on a great party.

On our way back home we took a trip around the Cabot Trail, saw some whales, moose, and eagle and smoking brakes. Our next stop was Hopewell Rocks in New Brunswick for a walk on the ocean floor of the Bay of Fundy. Then onto Quebec City to partake in the 400th anniversary. Then back home for a rest.

Had a great time and would like to thank Dave and Keri for inviting us, and the Coolen’s for their wonderful hospitality.

Haven’t seen any notes on here in awhile. I hope that means that everyone is enjoying the nice summer weather. We certainly are. Whenever summer rolls around that’s when I don’t like working and wish I could just be off but I hang in there knowing that in the fall when it’s cold out I’ll be wishing I had something to do. And of course the extra money is always a nice thing.

Hope everyone is enjoying this hot, hot weather. Once again we seem to have skipped right from winter to summer. We got the pool opened last week so as soon as the water warms up a bit we’ll be diving in. John was already brave enough to take the plunge.

Hope everyone learns to type soon and adds to the site. And by the way. Where is the paper newsletter? I thought it might be coming my way soon.

Hi All,

 Just thought it was about time to add a few more lines to give everyone a reason for coming to this site. Allison and Brad are now both home for the summer. We got the pleasure of moving all Brad’s stuff out of residence and back home. We were able to leave a little of it at the house he’ll be moving into in Septemeber. Allison we had to move from one house in Kingston to a smaller one about a block away. Some of the kids she was living with wanted to move elsewhere so when they couldn’t find anyone to take their place they found a smaller house instead.

Allison scored a great job this summer and is working at Ontario Power Generation, Darlington in the Engineering department. It’s going to be diffiult for 4 of us to share 2 cars but we’ll get by somehow. Brad is still looking. He’s had a few calls so hopefully something will come from one of them.

Look forward to seeing all of you, who are going, at David’s wedding in July. We’re hoping to make a mini vacation out of it.

Well, it was great having everyone here. For those who don’t know, Cheryl, Anne, Carolyn, Leona, Maureen, Elaine and Melissa were here on the weekend of March 15.  We all went to Glow in the Dark Mini Putt and I think everyone had a good time. Then it was back here for Thai food and a little drinking! We all had a lot of laughs and I for one look forward to the next one. Maybe next time others will join us too. Afterall, the more the merrier. Everyone even managed to find somewhere to sleep and Carolyn didn’t even have to build a quinzy
